TRAVEL INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA SURVEY:
4 out of 10 members of the traveling public are made up of Americans with?disabilities and their companions.
One of the most difficult things about traveling while dealing with a disability is finding a lodging facility that meets specific needs. Many times, Lodging personnel (at both Reservations and Front Desk) do not know about the accessible features of their own facility!
The Proudly Accessible Dubuque Lodging Survey is based on Easy Access Chicago, a guide to Chicago for visitors with a wide range of disabilities and for older travelers. http://easyaccesschicago.org/
To be a part of Proudly Accessible Dubuque, a Lodging facility must first meet the minimum accessibility requirements outlined in Take Our Survey. Then, we highlight your specific accessible features in mobility, low vision and hearing. (It is not required for your facility to have every accessible feature listed.)
Lodging facilities, Take Our Survey and we will contact you for the rest.
